Description:
Prior to joining the Fania All Stars Chivirico Davila was singing
with the Joe 'El Magnifico' Cotto Orquesta.
The Joe Cotto Orquesta was one of the most celebrated bands in Puerto
Rico in the 1960s and 70s.They appeared regularly on television and played
to capacity crowds. Little wonder that Joe Cotto was nick-named
"El Magnifico".
